new clothes and brushing teeth and cow milk

It's been a great weather. Chilly as autumn. Great. I love it.

Today, the package arrived.
It was my first present for mikachete. Bunch of clothes and her first tooth brush.
I was just happy to give her my present.

She always refuses opening her mouth when I want to wipe her mouth.
But, today, I made it. With the new tooth brush (a kind of rubber), she was able to open widely!

Also, she drank 50ml of cow milk. Without stopping. It was great.
Let's see if her tummy is ok tomorrow... She looked so happy drinking milk, so that's good at least.

Everyday is a challenge and yet new history.
Today, I lived. Tomorrow, I will live again.

teeth

So, mikachete's teeth is coming out. I mean TEETH.
She hasn't had for 10 months, and now all of sudden, starting from left bottom, and then top two and right bottom are showing a tiny bit of tip. Hooray!! Now I am going to be busy and tricky with brushing her teeth... :D
It's going to be challenging!

Although, life is good, I sometimes want to disappear.
Most of the time, just because I hate myself. I hate not being a good enough to be a wife and mother, not enough to do a decent job. I am such a bad person. I really am.

autumn and rain

Yesterday, I had a rehearsal with my pianist.
We have a recording session next Friday, so we got to prepare together.
In the meantime, Mikachete was with me... in the studio.
She was fine, but cried a bit so I ended up carrying her on my back and played my instrument.
It was tough. It was not only heavy but also hard to breath.. :P
Oh well. I have to do the same for 2 hours next rehearsal. Hopefully it won't go till 2 hours.

It's raining. Rain makes me headache.
I hope it will be better for the weekend.
It's just one of those days.

so pazu is back

On Monday, Pazu landed safely.
Now our family is complete :)

After the conference, he changed in a good way. I can feel he is different :)
He is also sweeter and more kind.

Yesterday, he had a usual doctor's check up, so meantime I went to the supermarket with mikachete.
Actually, since the hurricane, I have been sick. It's been for a while...
So, after the shopping, by accident, Pazu caught me and said that I should go to see a doctor now.
Luckily the doctor was free so thanks to him, I went to the office.
I had a sinus infection, which I suspected.
It gives me a bad headache and pain around my eyes and forehead.
It's annoying.
But, I am so appreciative that Pazu made me go.
I have to recover quick to be able to fully enjoy this autumn and play with mikachete :)
Also, the moving is ahead of us... Starting from this weekend, we're going to look actively.
Let's strive for the best!! :):)

10 months... and memorable moment

Today, mikachete turned 10 months old !! Yay!! She is a big girl :):):)
I'm so happy that she's come to our life.
She is the joy and happiness itself.
She is everything for us.
I love her so much!!!
I would do anything for her... I will protect her and raise her strong no matter what.
She will be such a beautiful, smart, bright girl.
She already is though!! :D
hehehe I know I know... I am so spoiled mom, but this is the only moment I can enjoy raising her
as a baby... She is already 10 month! We can't go back to 1 or 2 or 3 months...
I want to cherish each moment... :):)

Today, after dinner, the most memorable and beautiful thing happened.
Mikachete likes to play with my cell phone.
Now she knows how to open, so I kind of have to be careful not to call anyone by accident :P
Well, as I was finishing folding clothes, I noticed Mikachete was using my phone.
I saw the light. The screen was blinking  time... Oh no!! She was calling someone, or she picked up a call.
Luckily, it was Pazu :)
She was calling him and left him a message!!
I wasn't sure so I texted him saying that it was Mikachete who called and might have left a VM.
He replied, "she did! she left a message!! Best message ever!! I will keep it!" :)
I was so happy!! :)
It was by accident, but I felt she misses him and left a message on purpose :):)
Of course she can't talk yet, but she did say something like papa, or dada.
She is such a smart girl! :)
I'm so proud of her making her daddy happy! :)

sunshine

Having said much about me like this weather, I would have to add one more detail that 

I love the sunshine coming through the window in the cold morning.

It's got the mix of cold and warm at the same time. It's like the famous frozen hot chocolate at

Serendipity3. 

Also, I like waking up in the morning and having a hot coffee with a lot of milk, while I am still wearing pajama. Toasted bread is a perfect match. French toast on weekend is good too.

And go back to bed again.

Ah! I wish I could do that everyday!

actually...

Day 2 is about to finish!!
So, that means, 1.5 days to go!! :D

So far, so good.
Pazu keeps sending me pictures id yummy meal, and it makes absolutely want to go there...!!
But, that's not the prime point! :P
He's having a great time so I am happy.
Despite of fatty person in the plane next to him, and "roommate karma" as he described...
I hope this one will be one of the memorable conference...!!

It's been super chilly. I have to take long sleeves tomorrow.
I do love this weather, but when there's a lot of clouds, they make me headache.
I need to take care of myself better.

I hope I will sleep goooood tonight in a cozy bed with mikachete :)
Ah, I can't wait to hug pazu on Monday!! =)

4 days will be loooooooooooooooong

Sigh.

I should be happy for him but it's sad.
Pazu is leaving for FL from this evening and coming back on Monday.
It's going to be a looooooooooooong weekend for me :(
Wait, the day 1 is already started so it's 3.5 days :D
Wait, the day 4 is a return day, so really it's 3 days :D:D

But still... :(

So, I made a lot of plan to make myself busy and not to feel sad :D

Besides, now mikachete is with me... I'm not alone! :)

Well, the weather since last night has been chilly and cool.
I love it!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!

Ah, autumn in NY is just gorgeous. Breathtaking.
I'm going to enjoy this treasure!!  :)

My goal for this autumn:
-make a pumpkin/sweet potato dish
-go to zoo as a family trip

that's life

Things changed, and we couldn't go to see Pazu yesterday :(
It was kind of sad because I was so excited. It's funny I see him everyday, but seeing him outside
is somehow more exciting to me...:P

He said that the office has an intense atmosphere and he doesn't want to show me.
I understand and thank his care. He is super kind and considerate.
I honestly don't mind at all, but you know when you just need to say "yes, ok" without asking "why?"

I know pazu wants to be a full-time photographer. That's his dream.
Being a musician, I understand how important to live in your dream. That's actually a life itself.
For me, no music no life. For him, no photo no life.
So, having said that, his most of the day is at office. In the environment which a lot of people acknowledge, which many people are jealous about.
It's so fortunate to just have a job right now. The time when so many people are dying to find a simple job to pay bills and eat and live. Besides, pazu takes care of family. He's got to have this job...
I know. I know. I know.
But, I wish he could have been pursuing what he really wants.
I am sure he will be more happy to live everyday with full of excitement.

I could only do a bit for him, but he does to me more than that.
I want to support and somehow make his dream comes true.
That's why I started to do research and know about photography occupation.
There are so many things I didn't know about. It's quite interesting and yet somewhat similar to music industry.
It's all about art, I guess.

In order to make money and live in the dream....
1) Enter the contest to earn money
2) Get the clients and management for support
3) Connect with gallery that offers space and opportunity to hang his works
4) More connection with clients and fans
5) People buy his works and make more money
6) Finally, spread more and more and go to other places to do the same
7) In the meantime, take pictures, travel by using the funds you earn from 1) and 2).

It is logical to list them up. The question is how to get started.
1) is easy. I already googled them a couple of competitions.
Some of them is for free to enter (others costs application fee etc..)
2) is getting harder, but once you win the contest, that all come easily, right?? =)

Sooooo, 1) is very important for now.
I want him to win the 1st prize of some big contest... and I think he can do it...!!!
To do so, I will support him to encourage keep shooting, and keep applying those stuff.

Life is only once. You got to do what you want. Whether you have family or are single, doesn't matter.
I, also, live in my dream. Now, it's a bit pause but will resume very soon...
I hope mikachete will do the same.

autumn in new york

When you are in the middle of busy week, you get easily forget the beauty and virtue of living in such a city- New York.

Autumn in New York--- what a great season!!

The weather has been nice lately, so I try to go out as much as I can.
Yesterday, I discovered one European cafe/bakery near my house.
It was small, simple and yet cozy place.
I got Eclair for Pazu as a surprise... but it turns out he doesn't like sweet too much :P
Oh well.

Today, I'm going to meet pazu in the city =)
I know it's nothing special, but for me it's special...
Just walking together, riding subway together is very special for me and it's so grateful.. :)
With this great weather, what can I ask for more??

love and hate?

My pazu (aka. my hubby) and I are very compatible.
We both like to eat.Dumpling. Sushi. Mexican. Peruvian. Japanese. Pizza. Many more.
Also, we like movies. Sometimes, we watch at home on rainy days. It's cozy watching movies on the bed.
We like music too... We do...
Sure, I'm a musician. Playing classical music for my 98% of my life.
I do love other kinds of music, but classical music is the most for me.
Pazu, he is allergic to classical music.
He calls it "boring, lame, gay blah blah blah..."

But, he's got to admit that classical music is THE origin of everything.
The other day, he put some Mozart and tried to sleep.
It surly worked well!! He slept sooooo gooooood.
Mozart is genius. I really love his music.
It's got a magic. It never bores me.

Really? Is it already September?

Bad bad bad...

It was last night when my pazu was browsing my website and came to this blog...
"Ah! I totally forgot about this!"

So... here I go again! :P

Since I wrote last time, the summer has passed somewhat abruptly.

There was earthquake. There was hurricane. There was leaking.
There was diet program. There was my birthday. There was a surprise birthday-party.
There was 8 months, 9 months of mikachete.
There was labor day weekend's pazu's vacation.
There was Staten Island Ferry. There was Japanese deli invasion.
There was shopping in soho. There was my stupidity. And yet there was care and love.

I had such a fantastic summer. It was memorable.
Now it's already September...

Time flies!!

Well, for upcoming events, we'll be moving to another place.
This story would come some another time...
Pazu is going to fncc next weekend.
Mikachete will turn to 10 months on the 18th.
I will have a recording session.
That pretty much occupies now.

O just love my pazu and mikachete very much.
When I wake up and see them lying next to each other, it just makes me so calm and peaceful.
Mikachete's growth is amazing too.
She is such a happy girl :)
She waves at us and says dah-dah, mah-mah...
Her smile is the most beautiful thing in the world...
My pazu's hug is the most comforting and loving thing in the world...

I'm super lucky!!

Well,,, I got to admit, it's life... There are many things going on that I want to cover my eyes and wish I could just ignore. But, two people give me strength and power to move forward. I think it's what family is meant to be.
I want to give them back the same way I feel. I want to be the sun in my family to cheer them bright and joyful =)

Ok, long now.

hot as dumpling

It's been so hot, so I haven't been able to write.

No,

that's not a good excuse.

Well, again, I couldn't keep writing. Sigh.
But, the most important thing is somehow to keep going, so I will start again!


It's been very quick since I wrote last time.
Mikachete is crawling fine and is able to now stand up with grabbing.
It's pretty amazing.
She can also applause!

Our activity kind of settles down to a routine:
-a morning walk to the park and ride a swing.
-take a bath 3 times
-eat food 2 times
-daytime nap 2 times
-wake up during the night 1 or 2 times

Besides that, she enjoys time with pazu a lot.
She was able to take a bath together with pazu for the first time last week.
It was pretty memorable. I was so grateful.

Again, it's been so hot, so we can't go out too much, but hopefully
we'll explore things many more.

7 months, Father's day and Tofu :)

On the 18th, she turned 7 months!
Happy 7months birthday, Mikachete :)

She can now sit down by her self. Amazing.
She likes this swingy-jumper. Addictive. :)

Yesterday was Pazu's first Father's day.
We went out in the evening, got a nice fruit smoothie, and headed to the park.
It was very peaceful and beautiful :)

Lastly, mikachete eats solid food now.
Oatmeal, rice, carrot, spinach, sweet potato, pear, apple...and
tofu.
She loves tofu!
No wonder she is a half-Japanese :)
She is also a half-Peruvian...
So...
Next try: ceviche :P

a lesson

last night mikachete had a minor congestion problem.
she couldn't breath and it was such a pain to see her suffering...
pazu and i tried in every way to clean her nose, but she din't like it at all.
more cries, more stuck...

this morning, although she seemed better,i took her to the doctor just in case.
it was all fine after all, but still need to be careful.
i'm glad i made the right decision.

lack of sleep makes me calm somehow.
rather, i did not sleep at all.
i really hope she will get better soon.

i want a triple-shot espresso...
but i will just have a soy milk for now.

Day 2 =)
... of blogging again!


Yesterday, we got package of toys for mikachete.
She seemed really happy!! YAY!!
Especially, the jumper was so attractive to her. That way, I can make her play and
do stuff while I'm busy.

Also, when we played with my camera yesterday, she saw her daddy on the photos and
said "PA-PA." !!!!!
I almost cried with joy and excitement!!
Because of the way baby can pronounce, she has been already saying "MA-MA," or "MMMMA"
but it was right timing to say PA-PA when she actually saw PAPA!!!

Everyday is a precious page of memory book :):)

Today, mikachete and I are off to see Pazu (ok, from now on I will call my hubby nickname too :)
in the city =)
I will give him something he forgot to bring, and we will have a "mini-picnic" in the park to have lunch together :):)

What a lovely idea :):)

I will not forget to appreciate each moment...
Always smile bright...

RENEWAL

It's been way too long since I came here... I know I am such a bad blogger, but why not refreshing my determination to keep updating once again?

Well, since I posted here, things have changed in many ways.

-Successfully and peacefully, I gave a birth the most beautiful princess, aka. mikachete :)
(I will call her by nickname ;)
-We've moved to a new place, but it will be another time to share about that story...
-I am soon-to-be 7 months mom. Phew! Joyful =)

Again, I am so determined to keep updating this. I promise!
